Now, the actor announced on Tuesday that he has decided to try his hand at writing as his first book 'Uncommon Type' is set to release on October 24th. The book will feature different stories revolving around typewriters, Hanks is an avid collector of typewriters.
Hanks has been working on the stories in the book since 2015.
