Joss Whedon wasn't always a household name in the superhero world - and when he wasn't he tried to make a Wonder Woman movie. Warner Brothers turned down the movie because the studio and Whedon had different visions.
Whedon said "I had to take on the film that, well, nobody liked? We just saw different movies, and at the price range this kind of movie hangs in, that?s never gonna work.?
Of course, many fans had wondered if Whedon would get a chance to revisit Wonder Woman thanks to the DC Extended Universe. Rumors circulated for some time about Whedon?s involvement with Gal Gadot?s take on the heroine, but the directorial honor ultimately went to Jenkins.
