Producers of "Picnic at Hanging Rock", a mini series on Australian pay cable, have tapped Natalie Dormer to act in the series. The limited series is based on Joan Lindsay?s iconic Australian novel of the same name. It centers on the mysterious disappearance of three schoolgirls and one teacher at Hanging Rock in rural Victoria on Valentine?s Day 1900. Dormer will star as English headmistress Mrs Hester Appleyard.
