Although playing Belle in Disney's new live-action "Beauty and the Beast" might seem like a dream role for any young actress, Emma Watson recently admitted that she definitely had some reservations about the character. In a recent interview with "Entertainment Weekly," Watson revealed that she grappled with the Stockholm Syndrome question with Belle, and said: "That's where a prisoner will take on the characteristics of and fall in love with the captor." However, upon further research into the character, Watson noticed that she keeps all of her independence and actually pushes back against the beast. She described the switch as something "intentional" that Belle chose to do.
