Suicide Squad did not do as well as expected and though it gained $745 million which is more than other Superhero counterparts like Captain America and Iron Man, the DC team is looking to leave a better rep among fans for Suicide Squad two which is already scouting for directors. Rumor is, the producers top choice is Mel Gibson. Gibson recently returned to the Hollywood scene after being shunned for anti Semitic remarks made in 2006.
