Tennis champion Serena Williams appears in the new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. Williams was introduced into the world of thong bikinis for the shoot. In a recent interview, Williams opened up about her glamourous Turks and Caicos photoshoot, and that she hadn't worn a thong bikini before this project. She described the process as "a shot of espresso" because she had to "wake up" to that being her first shot. Williams added that she isn't a size two, but she is strong and loves her body. She said "It?s okay to look strong and to be sexy and to be a woman and to be unbreakable ? all those things" Williams hopes to influence others through this photoshoot.
