Model Karlie Kloss faced some serious online scrutiny after a recent photoshoot for Vogue Magazine's March issue. In the shoot for an article titled "Spirited Away," Kloss appears dressed as a geisha, with a powdered white face and jet black hair. Although this issue was aimed at celebrating racial diversity and body positivity, many called Kloss's shoot out for cultural appropriation.
