Anticipation for Arthur Curry?s solo film has been high ever since Jason Momoa was cast in the lead, and even more so after horror director James Wan agreed to direct. The two have pushed the project forward, with Wan in particular refuting allegations he would leave. The movie is now only a few months away from the start of production.
Momoa spoke to Digital Trends about his career and interest in gaming in particular. When he was asked about the potential for an Aquaman video game (something that was at one time in the works), Momoa used it as an opportunity to tease Aquaman?s latest script. For him, one of the most exciting aspects of his solo film will be the exploration of Atlantis, which may be something that is not really explored in Justice League.
I read the (Aquaman) script and let me just put it this way, I?ve never seen a movie that?s anything like this. It?s going to be a world that you?ve never seen before, which is really cool.
