On Sunday night, Adele beat Beyonce for three of the top Grammy Awards. Adele's "Hello" won Grammys for song and record of the year. Adele's win for album of the year for the album "25" is what came as a surprise. The album was a commercial hit but Beyonce's "Lemonade" had received more attention as an artistic statement. Adele accepted her award and thanked the academy, she then went on to praised Beyonce's "Lemonade" as monumental, beautiful and soul-baring.
