Dick Van Dyke revealed two months ago that he will appear in Mary Poppins Returns, the sequel to the 1964 original. Since the sequel only takes place 20 years after the original, "it was assumed that he would portray an all-new character. The 91-year-old actor won't be portraying Bert but he'll be playing another son of another character he portrayed in the original. Some of you might be asking yourselves what other character Van Dyke played in the film.
