The premium cable network Showtime has tapped rock and roll legend Eric Clapton for a new rock doc. The documentary will be called Eric Clapton: A Life in 12 Bars, and is described as an unflinching and deeply personal journey into the life of the legendary musician. It charts his roots from a traumatic childhood through his difficult struggle with drugs and alcohol and the tragic loss of his son, and dives deep into Clapton?s role in contemporary music and cultural history.
