CNN released an interview they conducted with Betty White for ?The History of Comedy? series. She is now 95-years-old, and extremely grateful for her life. Overall she has won a grammy, seven emmy awards, and three screen actor guild awards. In the interview, White discussed what it was like to be a funny female in the early days of Hollywood. She stated, ?It was a little out of character, a little unfeminine, to be? you shouldn?t be funny.? She explained that back then women were expected to just ?come in and be pretty? it?s so much more fun to get that laugh.? White is best known for her role in ?Golden Girls,? and she herself with never be forgotten.
