Erykah Badu has made a name for herself over the years not just as a musician but also as a producer, television host, and even a certified doula delivering babies. Now, Essence is looking to honor Badu for all of her accomplishments, mainly her debut album 'Baduizm' that released 20 years ago. On Thursday, Essence Magazine will honor Badu at it's eighth annual Black Women in Music gala in LA.
