Paramount pulled World War Z 2 from its 2017 release schedule. without targeting any future release date, director David Fincher, who has been rumored to be considering the project, is still "very creatively interested in directing the movie,". Sorces say the studio is now eyeing a 2018 or 2019 release date, even though it has yet to put the film back on the schedule.The first World War Z, was filled with problems during production, with expensive re-shoots.
