At the 2017 Human Rights Campaign North Carolina Gala on Saturday, where she was honored with a HRC Visibility Award, 'Westword' star Evan Rachel Wood spoke out about her sexuality and past feelings of suicide. Wood, who is currently engaged to Zach Villa, her bandmate in the musical group Rebel and a Basketcase, explained that her attraction to the same sex started at age 12, adding, "Because I was born that way, I never once stopped to think that was strange or anything to fear.
