According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress Jennifer Connelly is joining the upcoming film adaptation of the Japanese comic 'Alita: Battle Angel' as a villain. Connelly joins a cast that includes actress Rosa Salazar in the titular role, Oscar-winner Christoph Waltz, Oscar nominee Mahershala Ali and Deadpool's Ed Skrein. The upcoming film will be produced by Avatar's James Cameron and Jon Landau, with Machete's Robert Rodriguez on board to direct.
