VIDEO : Jamie Lynn Spears' Daughter Involved In ATV Accident

It was a scary weekend for the Spears family, as Jamie Lynn Spears' 8 year old daughter Maddie was involved in a terrible accident. She was steering and ATV and over corrected a turn, causing her to go into a pond near the family's home. According to a police report, Spears and her husband Jamie Watson watched the accident happen. The report said: ?The ATV and child were instantly submerged in the water right before their eyes." The couple was unable to free her, as she was trapped by the seat belt and safety netting. Rescuers arrived within two minutes and were able to safely free Maddie. She remains in stable but critical condition. A representative for Jamie's sister, Britney, said that the family appreciates the privacy and prayers in this difficult time.
