FX's television show, "American Crime Story: The People versus O.J. Simpson" was a major hit in both fan phenomenon and awards recognition. The network just announced a new cast member for season two, which is entitled: "Katrina: American Crime Story." Actress Annette Bening is set to join the star studded repertory players, Courtney B. Vance, Sarah Paulson and Cuba Gooding Jr, all of whom appeared in the O.J. Simpson series. In season two, Bening will play former Louisiana governor Kathleen Blanco. The season plans to tackle Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath.This will be Bening's first television role in over a decade.
