VIDEO : Michael Keaton Almost Turned Down Beetlejuice

Michael Keaton said he initially turned down his lead role in 'Beetlejuice' because he was "lazy." The 65-year-old actor admitted he was reluctant to take on the role in the iconic 1988 movie, because he didn't understand director Tim Burton's vision and because he wanted to spend time at home. The director and actor also worked together on the 1989 movie "Batman." Tim admitted that it was Michael's psychological approach to the part that convinced him to cast Keaton as the caped crusader.
