John Lithgow, who recently won the SAG award for his work on Netflix series The Crown, is joining the cast of Pitch Perfect 3. Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson are returning to star in the third installment of the musical comedy franchise from Universal Pictures and Gold Circle Entertainment. Trish Sie will direct the film, which has a script by Kay Cannon, with the most recent draft written by Mike White. Universal vp production Sara Scott is overseeing for the studio.
