Director Michael Bay recently released a letter online giving insight into the writing of his new film, Transformers: The Last Knight. The letter was released on his website and details how the latest film greatly expands the mythology of the Transformers universe
leaving story ties on the table for multiple films. Bay said "I put together a writers' room designed to greatly expand our mythology, integrating our films in a whole new way. Every movie will interlink. It was a huge task."
