CBS News announced Tuesday that Oprah Winfrey is returning to broadcast television, joining long running news show "60 Minutes" for its 50th year. CBS tweeted, "JUST ANNOUNCED: Starting this fall, @Oprah will become a special contributor for @60Minutes. Welcome to the team!" In a statement released by CBS, Jeff Fager, the executive producer of 60 Minutes said, ?There is only one Oprah Winfrey. She has achieved excellence in everything she has touched. Her body of work is extraordinary, including thousands of interviews with people from all walks of life." Oprah will begin filming segments for '60 Minutes' in the fall.
