Ben Affleck has dropped out of directing the solo stand alone Batman movie, 'The Batman.' In a statement released Monday, Affleck announced "has become clear that I cannot do both jobs to the level they require." Affleck and Warner Brothers are looking for a new director. In March 2016, Affleck made his debut as Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. He had committed to write, direct, star in, and produce the Batman standalone movie for about a year.
