At Sunday night's 2017 SAG Awards, 'Fences' star Denzel Washington took home his first-ever Screen Actors Guild award in the Best Male Actor in a Motion Picture category. Afterwards, Washington chatted with E! News about the major career milestone, saying, "It's amazing and surprising to be chosen for this award." During his acceptance speech, before thanking many behind-the-scenes individuals who "don't get recognized," Washington said, "We are just actors.
