The Oprah Winfrey Network has picked up a new Tyler Perry comedy series. A spinoff of Perry?s TBS comedy ?House of Payne,? called ?The Payne?s,? was given a 38-episode order by the network. It will be written, directed by and star Perry. LaVan Davis and Cassi Davis will reprise their roles from the original series. OWN President Erik Logan said in a statement that Tyler?s shows are must see TV for his loyal audience.
