Prince William and Kate Middleton plan to attend the BAFTA Film Awards this coming Sunday. the Kensington Palace tweeted the announcement. The royal couple will walk the read carpet, and Prince William will present the lifetime achievement award for the the British Academy of Film and Television. Previously rumors flew around that BAFTA did not want Middleton to attend, as she might outshine A-listers like Emily Blunt and Naomi Harris However, the organization called those rumors "nonsense" and added: "We would be delighted to welcome Their Royal Highnesses any year that they are able to attend."
