VIDEO : Madonna Denies Malawi Adoption Reports

Denying earlier reports, Madonna says she has not applied to adopt any more children from Malawi. She told People in a statement, "I am in Malawi to check on the children's hospital in Blantyre and my other work with Raising Malawi and then heading home. The rumors of an adoption process are untrue." Madonna has two children adopted from Malawi, son David Banda who she adopted in 2006, and daughter Mercy James, who she adopted in 2009.
