The newest Emmys host has been announced and it will be The Late Show's Stephen Colbert. He will take the stage as master of ceremonies at the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards in September. CBS Executive Vice President Jack Sussman said, "We?re excited to kick off the new season and celebrate the top achievements in television with Stephen Colbert as host of the Primtetime Emmys." This marks the first time that The Late Show star will host the Emmys, but he's no stranger to the live-show spotlight.
