Friday, JK Rowling announced that the three ?Harry Potter and the Cursed Child? stage plays will never become a movie trilogy. She wrote on her Twitter, ?I know a lot of people are looking for reason to be cheerful today, but there is NO TRUTH to the rumor about a #CursedChild movie trilogy!? The plays take place 19 years after the original books and movie did. Fans would have loved more film adaptations, but the live performances will have to do.
