VIDEO : Solange Knowles Headlines 'Peace Ball'

Thursday evening's "Peace Ball" at the National Museum of African American History and Culture was organized by progressive activist Andy Shallal. The evening featured jazz singer Esperanza Spalding and a dance party. The headline act didn't hit the stage until close to midnight but about 3,000 guests packed in for the event and performace by Solange Knowles. This event differed from the official pre-inaugural concert at the Lincoln Memorial, in that there was no country music.
