Miguel Ferrer, the celebrated television actor, has died. Ferrer was best known for his talent of bringing stern authority to network procedurals like 'NCIS: Los Angeles' and 'Crossing Jordan.' He had played assistant director Owen Granger on NCIS: Los Angeles since 2012. Ferrer was also Hollywood royalty, the son of Rosemary Clooney and a cousin of George Clooney. Clooney said " Miguel made the world brighter and funnier and his passing is felt so deeply in our family that events of the day ... pale in comparison. We love you Miguel. We always will."
