Big news for Dwayne The Rock Johnson as he gears up to play the anti-hero Black Adam in DC Extended Universe's 'Shazam!' franchise. However, it looks like New Line Cinemas hs decided to give Johnson his own solo, spinoff movie. Deadline reported that the production company is splitting "Shazam!" into tw movies. One will feature BIlly Batson, who turned into the magical version of Superman by saying the word "Shazam!". The other will focus on the history and motivations of Black Adam. Uproxx.com described the character of Black Adam as "he?s Batman with Superman?s powers and a bit more moral complexity."
