According to 'This is Us' creator Dan Fogelman on Wednesday, the hit NBC show has cast Katie Couric and ?Atlanta? actor Brian Tyree Henry in guest roles for the second half of the show's first season. Fogleman said in a statement that Couric will appear as herself in a segment where she interviews Justin Hartley?s Kevin, while Henry will play a character from Ron Cephas Jones' character William's past. Fogleman added Wednesday that Henry's character will appear in both the present day storyline and in flashbacks in the show, which was recently renewed for two more seasons by NBC.
