35-year-old singer Alicia Keys appears on the cover of Allure magazine's February issue, sporting a head scarf, a Max Mara top, and accessories by Paula Mendoza and Esteban Cortazar. In the magazine's interview, Keys discusses her "fresh-faced," make-up free look, saying, ""I'm not a slave to makeup." She confessed that when her makeup was done for Allure magazine spread, it was the first time she'd painted her face "in nearly a year." She said that sometimes she likes wearing makeup as a form of self-expression and said she has no intention to shame anyone at all for choosing to wear it. She just likes getting to choose "at any given moment" while she continues her "own personal quest."
