Actor Dev Patel recently opened up about his journey to become an actor. While chatting with CNN the 'Slumdog Millionaire' star shared how he first got into the profession saying, " I was very hyperactive in school. I could never sit at my desk and concentrate. So it was sports and acting that allowed me to express myself." Despite his varying roles on screen Patel also shared the common bond his characters share, saying, " Every chracter, if you look at a lot of my work there's this generic theme of the underdog. Someone who has to overcome adversity to achieve something that others deem impossible."
