In a recent interview for February's Cosmopolitan South Africa, pop singer Ciara opened up about her reason for staying absinent with now-husband NFL Quarterback Russell Wilson. She told the publication: "I really believe that when you focus on a friendship, you have the opportunity to build a strong foundation for a relationship." Ciara added: "Knowing that you'll always have the friendship and that you can always go back to it is very important, and very powerful." She and Wilson took the news of the celibacy public back in July of 2015 shortly after they started dating. After getting married over the summer, the couple is preparing for their next big step, as they are expecting their first child together.
