Lionsgate has officially acquired the U.S. rights to the Tupac Shakur bipic "All Eyez on Me" and will release it this year on the late rapper's birthday, June 16th. The film tells the life story of the rapper, who died September 13, 1996, six days after being shot repeatedly in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. ?All Eyez on Me" stars Demetrius Shipp Jr. as the rapper, Danai Gurira, Kat Graham, Jamal Woolard, Dominic L. Santana, Lauren Cohan and Grace Gibson.
