The next time fans can see Emma Watson on the big screen will be in Disney's live-action "Beauty and the Beast" as Belle. In a recent interview, the "Harry Potter" actress revealed that she had previously turned down the role of Cinderella when Disney remade the classic into a life-action movie a few years ago. The role eventually went to Lily James. On the matter, Watson said, "When they offered me Belle, I just felt the character resonated with me so much more than Cinderella did. She remains curious, compassionate and open-minded. And that?s the kind of woman I would want to embody as a role model, given the choice.? Watson allegedly also turned down the lead role in "La La Land" due to the filming schedule conflicting with "Beauty and the Beast."
