When it was announced that Emma Watson was to play Belle in the upcoming live action Beauty and the Beast, everyone was pleased with how great of a fit it was. Watson, of course makes a great princess and was in fact, asked to be another princess before the role of Belle. Before live action Beauty and the Beast was in the works, Watson was offered the role for live action Cinderella, yet she turned it down. In a recent interview with Total Film, Watson shares that she turned down the role because "I just felt the character Belle resonated with me so much more than Cinderella did."
