QUICK SUMMARY: Ryan Reynolds has been awarded this year's Hasty Pudding Man of the Year award. He'll receive the accolade and a roasting at a special ceremony on 3 February. Harvard University's Hasty Pudding Theatricals student group is the oldest collegiate theatrical organisation, tracing its roots to the late 1700s. The nominee for 2017 Woman of the Year hasn't yet been announced. It got its name because at the first meeting, students decided that members in alphabetical order must provide a pot of hasty pudding for every meeting.
