Bryan Cranston chose to play the mentor role of Zordon in the upcoming ?Power Rangers? film for a simple reason: the creator of the series contacted him. Cranston said Haim Saban called and asked him directly. however, Cranston admitted he wasn?t immediately on board with being in the film. But then, he read the script and it instantly changed his mind. After reading the screenplay, he realized the project was worth it. He said not only did the teenagers in the film feel real but, playing Zordon ties back to his own voice-over career from years ago.
