Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's marriage is finally finished, after a turbulent divorce process. The actress filed papers to end their 15-month union back in May 2016. She obtained a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Depp after that. Heard said in her filing that throughout their relationship, she "endured excessive emotional, verbal, and physical abuse." Depp has denied any wrongdoing. At a hearing Friday, which neither she nor Depp attended, a judge signed papers finalizing their divorce. The news comes about five months after the former couple reached a settlement.
