The arrival of George Miller?s Mad Max: Fury Road back in 2015 proved to be a satisfying rush of adrenaline for audiences who had waited 30 years for more Mad Max. Aside from delighting fans, Fury Road also managed to engage an entirely new generation, please huge numbers of critics and even bring in 6 Oscars at the 2016 Academy Awards. Not bad at all for a bizarre post-apocalyptic tale based entirely in a barren desert landscape and with minimal dialogue.
