British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran shared his thoughts about Mariah Carey's New Year's Eve performance as a guest on 103.5 KTU's radio show Thursday morning. He told the hosts, "I feel like that could happen to anyone. She's in the middle of Times Square with no monitors. It's really difficult. You can't sing in tone for that. I know people [were] watching that and poking fun at her, but that's a really, really horrible situation to be in, because you're just there, powerless." Sheeran also talked about releasing new music after a year-long hiatus. His album drops March 3rd and two singles, "Shape Of You" and "Castle on the Hill," are available now.
