Disney has plans to make a live-action ?Dumbo? film, and they have discussed having Will Smith star in the film. Tim Burton has already signed on to direct the film, and Ehren Kruger is writing the screenplay. There are also rumors that Tom Hanks may play the villain in the film. Disney has really amped up their productions of live-action films. They already made a live-action ?Sleeping Beauty,? a live-action ?Alice in Wonderland?, and of course they are about to release their live-action version of ?Beauty and the Beast.? Hopefully, Will Smith will be cast in ?Dumbo.?
