Tom Hardy, the star of the 2015 Mad Max flick, is starring in a new FX series, Taboo. In the show, an 8-episode series that debuted Tuesday night, Hardy plays Delaney, a man who returns to London in 1814 only to find his country is at war with both France and America. His half-sister and trusted manservant thought he was dead. Delaney has returns from his jaunt to Africa covered with tribal tattoos, and carrying surly disposition. Delaney is obsessed with enacting revenge on those who have he feels have wronged him: his former employers at the East India Company, led by Sir Stuart Strange.
