On Monday, Los Angeles County Department of Public Health released the cause of death for actress Carrie Fisher. Her death certificate confirms she died of a heart attack and says more investigation is needed to try to determine the heart attack's underlying cause. The iconic star Wars actress had the heart attack on a flight from London to Los Angeles on Dec 23. Her mother, actress Debbie Reynolds, died the next day after having her a stroke while making memorial plans for her daughter.
