As of now, the biggest priority for the Deadpool sequel production team is finding the right actor to play Cable, the time-traveling mutant whose involvement was confirmed in a post-credits scene for the first movie. While at the Golden Globes over the weekend, actor Ryan Reynolds confirmed that the Cable casting process is still ongoing and production on the sequel won?t begin until that?s finalized. With Deadpool 2 starting to get back on track after finding a new director and composer, insiders say it?s reasonable to assume someone will be cast as Cable before the beginning of the summer.
