On Monday it was confirmed by movie industry insiders that Ben Affleck's upcoming film 'The Batman' may have been pushed to allow for proper development, with Affleck, the movie's director and star, claiming that things are moving forward. In an interview with Fox 5 at a press junket of his new movie, Live By Night, Affleck was asked about production for 'The Batman' to which he replied, "We're good and going!" The current rumor is that Affleck won't start production on the movie until spring 2017. This would likely give it a holiday season 2018 or March 2019 premiere date.
