A week after her New Year's Eve performance mishaps in Times Square, Mariah Carey released an audio recording on Twitter, explaining what happened in her own words. Referring to the technical difficulties she suffered on "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve," Carey said, ?It?s a shame that we were put into the hands of a production team with technical issues who chose to capitalize on circumstances beyond our control.? The superstar has admitted to singing along with a pre-recorded track, telling fans that its impractical to sing live in the middle of the loud, crowded city street. Both the superstar and her manager now expect an apology and believe that she was intentionally humiliated.
